ブラジルなど原産のジャカランダ・ミモシフォリアは大阪市内でも開花する株があり話題になります。このような美しい花を家でと考えられる方も少なくありません。しかし今までは大きくなりすぎると諦めておられました。
写真のジャカランダはブラジル原産の小型種同士を交雑したもので、1mほどで花をつけます。家でも扱いやすい品種です。他にも若い株に古い株の枝を接いで背を低くして花を咲かせる方法もあります

Jacaranda is famous and attractive flowering tree in Japan. And in the warmer areas they can grow in the gardens. However in the cold areas the can grow only in the green houses or rooms. In the case smaller type of Jacaranda is suitable to grow.
J.puberula, caroba and their hybrids are smaller type tree. They are useful flowering trees when we think about the size.
