ムクナ・ノヴァグィネーンシス
ムクナの仲間は、日本では濃い紫色であまり目立たない花のトビカズラ（アイラトビカズラ）が九州で有名ですが、おそらく中国から導入されたものです。
ニューギニア原産のムクナ・ノヴァグィネーンシスは朱色でとても目立ち美しいです。場所は熱帯花木室内になりますが、ニューギニアの熱帯雨林地帯のなかでも高山で見られる植物です。
Mucuna novo-guinensis is perhaps the most spectacular species in genus Mucuna. It is native to New Guinea which is the climber high in the rain forest canopy. Orange-scarlet flower is attractive now.
